Berkeley Churchill has been a lighting designer for live events since 2007. He is currently a student at UC Santa Barbara, studying lighting design in addition to mathematics and computer science. His work to date includes shows for schools and community productions. One of his major accomplishments is the development of a primative lighting control system for personal computers which makes it easier to design lights in environments with constricted resources. Development on this project is still continuing today.

Testimonials
"Berkeley possesses that rare combination of technical knowledge and design sense that is paramount in a good Lighting Designer. He has a wealth of knowledge about the technical side of our craft and goes above and beyond the call of duty to find new solutions to practical dilemmas. Plus, he is a creative designer who intuitively understands how to use the design process to support a director's vision. Berkeley is a tenacious problem solver, who is firm in his convictions and confident in his creativity. I have had the pleasure of mentoring Berkeley during his formative design years, and now respect him as a fellow designer."

"I have had the pleasure of working with Berkeley most of his entire high school career. He has a passion for his work in lighting design. Couple that with his mathematical skills and you have a great designer. Berkeley is also very easy to work with. I enjoy his enthusiasm when working on a show and have complete trust in him and the work he produces. I have invited him back to design for the Fourth Annual Broadway Revue and will continue to invite him back for any shows that I direct or produce. Highly skilled, competent, enthusiastic. Truly the best combination for a Lighting Designer!"
