12 Angry Jurors is an addaptation of the classic play 12 Angry Men to include women in the cast. For this production the director chose to suround the stage with audience on all sides. This presented a difficult challenge for a high school theater with a limmited arsenal of conventional insturments. The lighting was designed to model realtity while adding subtle accents to help convey the emotions in the room. Consequently, the lighting was very cold, capturing the daylight from the window and the flourescent lighting on the ceiling. A medium red accent was occasionally used to symbolize anger and fear.
